Are .data segments shared or private? That is, if children get created using m_fork, do they each get a copy of the segment or do they share it? The assembler manual doesn't explicitly say either way, but I'd be really surprised if it weren't private since that is the default in C and also since there is a .shdata directive (but no .privdata one).
