I am in nedd of help/advice/comments which may be useful in
connecting our S81 to UUCP. I have already located several sites
nearby which are willing to provide us with a feed, and I am fairly
familiar with UUCP and networking in general. What I would like is
some specific information on the mechanics of setting up and
administering a Symmetry as a UUCP node (ie. solutions to common
problems, performance tuning options, potential security holes and
their solutions). I understand that the main manual references are
articles 35 and 36 in the Programmer's Manual Vol. II. Are there any
other manuals (from Sequent or otherwise) on running UUCP through an
S81? Also, what is the procedure for registering through the UUCP
mapping project?
