The Computer Science Department at Purdue University is consolidated two Sequent Computers into one cabinet and will be selling a small S27 configuration as follows: S27 Building Block Powered main system cabinet Powered expansion cabinet 1 Dual Processor board (2 CPU's) 8MB ECC memory w/controller SCED card with ethernet interface 1/4" streamer tape w/target adapter 264MB disk w/DCC 16 Asynchrounous ports 16-user software and documentation Additional hardware/software 8 MB memory controller Dynix license upgrade 16-64 users Fortran NFS (2-6 CPU's) This machine was delivered in October of 1987 and had a list price of $155,260 at that time.
