[comp.sys.sequent] GNU software on Dynix

I suppose I should post this to the GNU newsgroups, but I don't get them. I'm
having difficulty compliling gas, g++, binutils, fileutils and cvs on Dynix 3.0.17.
Has anyone successfully compiled (and used) all of this stuff? Any hints? Do
you know if things fall apart when upgrading to Dynix 3.1? Thanks.

I have the full GNU suite installed under DYNIX 3.0.17.9. I had to make a lot
of changes though. I am planning writing an extensive report. In the meantime
sys-admins fighting with GNU under DYNIX are welcome to have a look at my
installations and sources.
