Meta-Compilation is used to create new Forth
systems from existing ones. This talk will focus
on the creation of code and colon definitions for a
foreign CPU and the handling of the various Forth
constructs. In particular, the treatment of
defining words and forward references will be
discussed. A demonstration of the production of a
Forth for a Zilog System8 computer on an IBM PC is
planned.
