[comp.sys.pyramid] Slip on pyramid?

dricej@drilex.UUCP (Craig Jackson) (05/21/88)

Is there a slip driver for a Pyramid? Would the slip driver in
the sun-spots archives (which claims to work for a 4.2 VAX, too)
work on a pyramid? I'm assuming there may be some minor editing,
but could you get it to work? This is for a binary-only site.

I would be interested in corresponding with anybody who has gotten
this to work.

It's part of the NSP option to OSx 4.4. Talk to your salescritter. If you
already have Ethernet, and you upgrade to OSx 4.4, you'll get SLIP, no extra
charge.

Nope. The OSx networking isn't 4.2BSD, it's 4.3. Also, if you have a multi-
processor system, you have this little problem of semaphores to deal with....
