Anyone get C-news or NN working on a Pyramid? I spent 8 hours last friday trying to update to C-news, just to find out it wouldn't work. relaynews kept giving me a memory fault after processing a few dozen articles... I finally gave up friday night around 9PM and went back to Bnews. NN sorta works now, but there is a bug that is specific to the Pyramid in it. If you select an article, in the newsgroup menu, then hit S to save it, if SEGFAULT's and dumps core... Thanks for any help.... - Warren... -- Samsung Software America. Warren J. Lavallee (!WJL17). There were a number of Pyramids on the C News beta test cycle, including (I believe) Pyramid's DC office. You should contact one of them; you should be able to get a list from Henry Spencer (utzoo!henry). I don't know about NN. <csg>

I have been using NN for about a week now -- seems okay, but I had to come up with system specific m- and s- files. Since they are kind of short, and is probably a problem for all Pyramid users, I'll include them here. Just modify your config.h file to use these system specific files, and go to it. This was compiled under OSx 4.4c with NN at patch level 4 in the UCB universe. No other code changes were needed.
