[comp.sys.pyramid] crmode

cs00chs@unccvax.UUCP (charles spell) (05/07/90)

I work for, uh..., let's say the government. I noticed that on our many
machines (pre-5.0) that the parity is switched to even (7-bit) when crmode()
is called in curses. Is this intentional? I noticed that many commands that
use curses (eg. more(1)) will switch to even parity when run, and some
(eg. vi(1)) will not. Why?
