I just returned from a trip and noticed that /usr/adm/messages has been collecting messages indicating that "fhtovp failed" forseveral days. I have no idea what fhtovp is, much less the significance of those messages. Can anyone help? Thanks. Mark

When we installed OSx5.0 we got this message by the hundreds. fhtovp -> file handle to virtual pointer failure. Apparently it is a debug message left in the NFS code, we got rid of it when we installed a new PTF for NFS. It was weeks before anyonbe in our Pyramid Support chain, NZ, Australia, US managed to tell us what it meant let alone what to do about it.
