Subject: Cheap 68k systems To: info-68k%ucbvax@Berkeley.ARPA Subject: Cheap 68k systems Mike, One possibility for a good (and cheap 68k system) might be an old TANDY Model-16. I have seen even new ones going for $400 or so, which gives you a complete system including monitor and keyboard, Z80, 68000, 128k - 1Meg memory, two DSDD disks, serial ports, printer port, etc. It can run CP/M-2.2 and CP/M-68K and Xenix (oh yeah, and TRSDOS). If interested, contact Rick Rogers at Kilgore's Electronics in Ft Worth, TX (area code 817, but I don't have the rest of the number handy). See if he won't make you a good deal.
