Is there a 68030 (or 68020) assembler for the MS-DOS operating system avaialble on the net (binary or source code in C). Ideally, it to produce both Motorola S-files and "machine code" which could be loaded into PROM at some point. Reply by mail and I'll post a summary. Thanks in advance for your help. There are a number available (with source) through the C Users
Group (one would also hope that the sources are C given the name
of the Group @:^) ). I can't vouch for quality, etc., but it
could be a good start. They charge $8 per diskette (too high I
think), but other things I have gotten from them have been worth
the price. I don't have an address handy, but look at a copy
of the C Users Journal -- there are listings of TOC of the diskettes
there. I would also try the Moto. BBS in Texas (??), and the
Circuit Cellar Ink BBS in Conn. (??). Again, sorry I don't have
the details and numbers. E-mail me and I can look them up.
