[osu.general] roots of polynomials

pgn@osupyr.UUCP (04/16/87)

Help! Help! Help!

I have a polynomial with complex coefficients (stored as a collection of
coefficients). I need to find all of its roots in the complex plane. Can
you give me references to procedures performing such a job, preferably as
efficiently as possible? (Something like the complex analogue
of Newton's method.)

Thanks,

Paul
