This is a stack which will collect scripts from any other stack and print
them (or let you make use of them otherwise). It allows collection of
scripts by object type (for example, you could collect just the button
scripts, or the background and card scripts, or all the scripts.) It is
self explanatory, and works quite well, aside from being a bit slow. Enjoy!

[ Updated 11-NOV-1987 06:03 by DDUNHAM. All items in the Info menu now
work, and it's more compatible with MultiFinder. ]

Dir-Acta-ry turns disk directories into Acta outlines. Each file is
represented by a topic; folders have subtopics. You don't need Acta, the
desk accessory outliner, to run this program, but you do need Acta to read
the files Dir-Acta-ry creates. This is an incomplete, but functional
version. I may or may not get around to finishing it for Acta 1.2.

Subject: BALL&STICK VERSION 1.1

This is a demonstration version of Ball&Stick 1.1, a molecular graphics
application for the Mac 512KE, Plus, SE, II. It has been substantially
improved compared to previous versions posted here. Some of the newer
features are LaserWriter support, a special high resolution print option
(if you choose "Fit to page" and the smallest possible reduction factor in
"Page Setup "), color support on screen and ImageWriter II, stereo images,
scale settings, perspective, improved input checks, increased speed,
MultiFinder-compatibility (can background), and full memory checks. There
is no manual but (organic) chemists will find most of the stuff self
explanatory and there is online help (About ).

The version posted here is copyrighted freeware, distribution is
encouraged. However it is limited to 40 atoms (three example files for the
three input formats are included). The full version is capable of dealing
with 2000 atoms if you have enough memory. On a 1 Meg Mac Plus you can
handle up to approx. 500 atoms depending on what exactly you do.

The full featured version is available from

NORBERT MUELLER

EARN/BitNet: K360171 AEARN

at a price of 99US$ for educational institutions, for commercial

which includes 2 free upgrades within the next 24 months.

Subject: doFKEY reposting

Here is a Hypercard stack that contains an XCMD that merely calls an FKEY.
This was absurdly simple to do, but very very useful. Now you can assign
FKEYs to the USS Saratoga's function keys (while in Hypercard) and make
buttons call FKEYs. I now have a single key to press to take me from b&w
to color thanks to the Switch-a-Roo FKEY posted last digest or so.

This XCMD will call FKEYs of any number, so fill up on them.

This is DiskInfo 1.45 from Maitreya Designs, by Dave Dunham (posted
with permission of the author). It is a useful DA for taking a quick
look at disk directories from within a program -- I use it a lot
because of its display of directories rather than just information
about individual files (as available from DeskZap, for instance). It
displays creator, type, modified date, and size of each fork, and it
allows renaming and deleting of files.

It was packed using StuffIt 1.20. [DiskInfo is shareware. - Lance]

This is a collection of XFCN and XCMD resources that people might find
useful when constructing their own stacks. The stack contains external
commands & functions to rename, move and delete files, and ones to control
the MultiFinder environment (launch an application while HyperCard keeps on
running - with optional attached document, check to see if a program's
running, check to see if MultiFinder's active). The latter should help with
some of HyperCard's eccentricities when under MultiFinder. Packed with
Stuffit.
