                ICR presents a colloquium on

The Current Conveyor: History and Progress

by Prof. Adel S. Sedra

of Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Toronto

ABSTRACT

The current conveyor is a circuit building block invented by the author
twenty years ago. Since then over 150 papers have been published by
researchers throughout the world on its implementation and application.
Furthermore, current conveyors have appeared as parts of analog bipolar
and CMOS circuits. With the growing interest in current-mode analog signal
processing, an historical account of the invention of the current conveyor
will be presented. Also its realization and application will be discussed.
