I have received Moire 3.22 from the author, but I don't have an electronic
mail address for him. I am hoping that he or someone who can reach him
(down-under) will read it here...
I have found that Moire 3.22 will cause a system crash when a dialog box
appears while the screen saver is on. This was especially repeatable when
a diskette was entered and Virex INIT brought up its dialog box ("do you want
to scan this diskette"). The problem was encountered on two Mac IIs,
one of which had a virgin copy of System 6.0.7 installed (no-inits except for
Moire and VirexINIT). The problem was not detected on a Mac IIci or cx on
which I attempted to cause the crash.
Also, in all versions of Moire that I have used I find that if a dialog box
appears while Moire is on, then when you exit from Moire all the text of the
dialog box is not visible, and sometimes the buttons are not visible as
well. This problem was not detected in AfterDark, so it is not a system
limitation.
Is there a newer version, or some fix?
