Festival "magazine", the advertising publication for Bloor Cinema Ltd.,
contains the following notice in the ad for the "Festival of Animation".

Bill Reeves, the [sic] computer genius behind Pixar, will be our
special guest opening weekend [sic] Friday, September 29, and
Saturday, September 30. Bill is originally [sic] born, raised,
and educated in Toronto. Bill's film credits while at Lucasfilm
and Pixar include: "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn" [sic],
"Return of the Jedi", "The Adventures of Andre & Wally B.",
"Young Sherlock Holmes", "Blowin' in the Wind", "Flags and Waves",
"Luxo Jr." (1986 Academy Award nominee), "Red's Dream", "Tin Toy",
and "Knickknack". In 1988, he received an Oscar for Best Animated
Short Film for his work as Technical Director on "Tin Toy".

The Festival plays at the Bloor Cinema September 29 - October 8, at
7 and 9:30 pm daily, plus 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays; then at the Kingsway
Theatre October 9-10 at 7 pm; then at the Fox Beaches Cinema October 13-15
at 7 pm and October 16 at 9 pm.

Since the Bloor's times are the same on the 2 days when Bill will be there
as on the other days the show is playing, I expect that we won't see much
of him. The program includes 19 short animated films, almost all new,
including "Tin Toy" and "Knickknack" and a Superman cartoon from 1941.
I have no connection with the cinema except as a customer.
