Here is the solution: PC2PS, an ASCII to PostScript converter that has all the linedrawing- and foreign symbols of the IBM Extended charset. I have translated the programs into Turbo C/MASM, naming them POLY_PLA.TC and POLY_XLA.TC. For those that don't have a compiler handy, I've also included precompiled executables: POLY_PLA.EXE and POLY_XLA.EXE. Note that the program has its own timing loops, so it doesn't adapt to high-speed CPUs. It plays fine on my 4.77MHz machine, but when I try it on my 386, the song is over in less than a second.
