[comp.os.research] JSP&JSD News Group.

shahram@yetti.UUCP (Shahram Javey) (07/21/87)

Is there any interest in forming a new News Group that exclusively
addresses Jackson's JSP and JSD programming methods?
The areas covered by this news group could include both the theoretical
and practical aspects of these methods, e.g., the relevance between
JSP and finite autamata, the relevance between `entity and events'
modelling and the so-called conceptual modelling, tools and environments,
and of course the exchange of the novel applications
of the methods to interesting problems.

In short, the aim of the news group will be to serve as a forum
for the exchange of experience and insight for a deeper undrestanding
of the methods.

Alternatively, if these issues could be addressed in one of the
exisiting news groups, then so much the better. Could someone
suggest a relevant newsgroup.

P.S. If you would like to collaborate on research on these methods
I'll be happy to discuss the possiblity.
