The proceedings for the workshop is now ready for distribution. If you have already requested a copy of, or information on how to get the proceedings, but have not heard from me already, please call or write again; I've already mailed information to everyone who was on my list. The Workshop was held in Cambridge, MA on November, 5-6, 1987. The goal was to bring together researchers to discuss recent developments, work-in-progress, and future directions in regards to workstation operating systems. The proceedings consists of the position papers and formal papers presented to the program committee. Some papers are less than half a page, one is approximately 16 pages. The length of the proceedings is 92 8 1/2" x 11" pages. The proceedings was printed on 11 x 17" 60# stock folded to 8 1/2" x 11". Cost for the proceedings will be $10.00 for IEEE members and $20.00 for non-members. Payment should be made in the form of a check payable to "The Workshop on Workstation Operating Systems". Please mail this check to the address shown below. The check must be drawn on a U.S. bank and in U.S. dollars. The above costs include postage and handling for delivery within the United States.
