The May 30 edition of "Macintosh Today" states that CMU's Mach operating system has been ported to the Mac II? Is this a true statement? If yes, when might it be available? [ I am not aware of it. But MACH has proven very easy to port (I heard the ] [ MIPS port was done over a week-end). Hmm, I believe there are people at the ITC working on a Mac II port, but I'm can't give you a definitive answer. A good place for questions like this is the info-mach@cs.cmu.edu mailing list (info-mach-request@cs.cmu.edu for subscription requests). Rich
