The field of operating systems has grown to interact with many other areas of computer science, and the conference attracts attendees with diverse back- grounds. We solicit papers in both the central and border areas of the operating systems domain. Topics of interest include, but are not restricted to: Communication Language Issues Security Distributed Systems Multiprocessor Systems Supercomputers File Systems Performance Evaluation Transactional Approaches Hardware-Software Interfaces Reliability Virtual Memory Papers should be no longer than 5000 words (about 20 double- spaced pages) and must not have been published elsewhere or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
