Excuse me if you've seen this before, but I posted this once before and never saw it on the net so here it goes again. ----------------- I am interested in locating any books or papers discussing a UNIX based transaction processing operating system. Also, any books (or papers) on the design of a general transaction processing operating system would be appreciated, especially if they are UNIX related. Has anybody heard of any UNIX based TP operating systems currently in use? I'm interested in finding out what distinguishes UNIX from a transaction processing operating system.
