In my recent posting I was guilty of leaving out the other "classic" work "Remote Procedure Call" Bruce Jay Nelson CMU Technical Report # CMU-CS-81-119 ALso published as a XEROX Palo Alto Technical Report # CSL-81-9 Thanks to Devang for pointing this out, apologies all round.
