I've just embarked on a project to design a filesystem for a processor mesh being used as a general purpose computing engine. It would be useful to have a trace of a real file system in use to drive a simulator. What I need recorded is reads, writes, opens, closes etc. preferably with enough information to identify which user performed the action and on which file (so locality of reference etc can be derived).
