I posted a similar request in the comp.parallel newsgroup last week. I was informed that comp.theory and comp.os.research would most likely be more appropriate for a distributed system issue like clock synchronization. The last year I studied clock synchronization in completely connected systems. Now I am starting some research on clock synchronization in not-completely connected systems. The vast majority of the literature that I found made use of Byzantine agreement or authentication. Only a few papers were concerned with clock synchronization w/o the use of Byzantine agreement and authentication. Therefore, I would appreciate if someone could give me hints on where to look or send me references of papers that deal w/ the above mentioned problem. Any response is greatly appreciated. Please post or email. Thanks in advance, Manfred -- ***** ***** Manfred Pfluegl - believer of "Per Aspera Ad Astra" * **** * **** pfluegl@uci.edu (Internet) * ***** **** pfluegl@uci.bitnet (Bitnet)
