                        CALL FOR PAPERS

You are cordially invited to submit an original paper for consideration
to be presented at the IEEE 1988 Network Operations and Management
Symposium.  The symposium will address the operations and management
of public networks, data networks and private networks.  Areas of
interest include, but are not limited to:

	Needs and Services			International Operations
	Initiatives, Strategies, and Plans	Technology Impact
	Tools, Analysis, and Modeling		Future Directions
	Experiences and Case Studies

SCHEDULE

	Complete visuals plus text		July 1, 1987
	Notification of Acceptance mailed	September 15, 1987
	Final visuals plus text			January 29, 1988

INSTRUCTIONS

The title page should include the author's name, complete return address,
phone, telex and telefax numbers, and abstract (200 words).  All other
pages should bear the title of the paper and the author's name.  The
format for the submission should be an abstract plus nominally ten
visuals with text describing each visual.  Six copies in English must be
sent to the NOMS '88 Technical Program Chairman.  All submissions will
be reviewed for technical content, quality and relevance.
