- - CALL FOR PAPERS The 21st. annual HICSS (Hawaiian International Conference on Systems Sciences), to be held in Kona, Hawaii next JANUARY 5-8, 1988, will have 3 sessions and a forum of the Architecture Track devoted to PARALLEL SYSTEMS Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: + Performance studies of parallel and pipelined computer systems + Non-Von Neumann architectures, such as dataflow and systolic arrays + Topologies and interconnection schemes for multiprocessors + The impact of new hardware technologies upon multiprocessor architectures + Instruction set design and implementation to exploit parallelism + Tools and techniques to aid designers and users of parallel systems. HICSS is an interdisciplinary conference that brings together a wide spectrum of researchers in computer systems from Industry and Academia. There is a Software Track, which includes sessions devoted Parallel Programming, and interdisciplinary papers and interaction is encouraged. Unlike many conferences, a majority of the attendees are usually active participants in sessions, and the conference is structured to maximize the level of interaction between conference attendees and participants.
