The European UNIX Systems User Group (EUUG) is to hold its Autumn Conference at Trinity College, Dublin, from 21-25 September 1987. The event will have particular significance as it falls on the Anniversary of the EUUG'S 10th Anniversary. This will be underlined by the fact that many leading figures in the world of UNIX will be presenting papers at the Technical Sessions including Mike O'Dell from Maxim Technologies; Dan Klein and David Tilbrook from The SEI Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie-Mellon University; Andrew Hume; Mike Hawley from Lucasfilm; Lori Grob from New York University; and Bart Lochanthi from AT&T Bell Labs. Once again special tutorial sessions will be run on the first 2 days on such subjects as "advanced shell scripting"; "Streams", "System V"; "AWK"; and "The Shell". The 3-day Technical Programme begins on September the 23rd and over 20 presentations will cover a wide variety of subjects ranging from "UBOAT - a Unix-based On-Line Aid to Tutorials" to "The Analysis and Manipulation of BNF Definitions".
