                VLSI AND COMPUTER ARCHITECTURES

                 Pisa: 19th-23rd September 1988

                        CALL FOR PAPERS

Technical Committee TC-10 of the International Federation of
Information Processing aims to promote and coordinate infor-
mation exchange on concepts, methodologies, evaluation meth-
ods and tools in the design of digital systems. As part of
its programme for 1988, TC-10 is organising a conference of
design methodologies for VLSI circuits and computer archi-
tectures, to be held in Pisa, Italy, from 19th to 23rd Sep-
tember 1988. The conference will cover all aspects of
design, from circuit level to instruction-set level, includ-
ing hardware description techniques, notational frameworks
specification and verification, and design automation tools.

  Program Areas
Papers are invited in the following (and allied) fields:

       o Hierarchical Design Methodologies.
       o Architecture Description Languages.
       o Hardware Description Languages.
       o Specification and Verification Techniques.
       o Expert Systems in Design.
       o Engineering User Interfaces.
       o Design for Testability.
       o Fault Coverage Schemes.
       o Simulation and Testing.
       o Silicon Compilation.
       o Placement and Layout.
       o Hardware Accelerators for CAD.
