Eurologo '89 First announcement and call for papers Second European Logo Conference ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Date: August 30 - September 1, 1989 Location: State University of Gent (Belgium) Department of Education EUROLOGO is a biannual conference. The first EUROLOGO conference was held in Dublin 1987, and was attended by a representative number of participants from all over Europe. The STATE UNIVERSITY OF GENT (Belgium) has a tradition in organising conferences on the international level. The Education Department of this University hosted in this medieval town IFIP conferences, E.C. conferences, European Summer Universities etc. Its central position in Europe and the nearby ferryports and airports enlighten its accessibility. The Eurologo '89 conference themes are: * Classroom experiences with Logo * Logo and the school curriculum (Primary, secondary and special education) * Logo projects * Research projects * Teacher training in the use of Logo * Technical developments The conference addresses novices as well as experts, teachers as well as researchers. The conference activities include paper presentations, demonstrations, workshops and special interest groups.
