The 1989 VLDB Conference will be held in the RAI International
Congress Centre in Amsterdam. The RAI is ideally located for easy
access by both public and private transport. It has its own bus
and tram station for direct access to the city centre and its own
train station with a direct line to Schiphol International Airport
which is only ten minutes away. Amsterdam itself has much to
offer visitors. Its combination of old world charm and dynamic
modern lifestyle is unique.
