			  1989 ARRAY CONFERENCE

		  Beaverton, Oregon - April 9-11, 1989

Technical Papers
----------------
Technical papers are now being accepted for the FPS Array meeting to be
held at the Greenwood Inn in Beaverton, Oregon. Topics should pertain to the
effective use of FPS Computing (formerly Floating Point Systems) products
and/or novel hardware and software systems incorporating FPS Computing
products. Abstracts should be submitted no later than January 12, 1989.
Final camera-ready full-length papers are required by February 14, 1989.

Technical papers are published in the annual Array Conference Proceedings
and are eligible for the Best Paper Award (an expense-paid trip to the European
FPS Users' Conference). Technical papers are alloted 25 minutes for presentation
and 5 minutes for questions and answers.

Mini-Papers
-----------
To facilitate the presentation of work in progress, papers describing
innovations too recent to conform to the schedule for full-length technical
papers may be submitted as "Mini-Papers." Contact Sam Cole if you wish to
make this type of presentation. Abstracts for Mini-Papers must be submitted
30 days prior to the conference (March 9, 1989). Mini-Papers are allotted
25 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers.

Mini-Papers are not elligible for the Best Paper Award, and do not appear
in the Array Conference Proceedings.

Third-Party Vendor Papers
-------------------------
Third-party vendors may present papers which do not fit into other
categories. These papers should discuss products enhancing FPS Computing
products, and should be 25-30 minutes in length. Vendor papers do not appear
in the Array Conference Proceedings, and are not elligible for the Best Paper
Award.	They should emphasize technical and application-oriented material,
and may not contain marketing material or pricing information.	Abstracts are
required by March 9, 1989.

Acceptance of Papers
--------------------
The acceptance of papers for presentation at the Conference is at the
