TENCON '89 (IEEE Region 10 Conference) SESSION ON LAN/WAN NETWORKING AND HIGH SPEED LANS November 22 -- 24, 1989 Bombay, India Under the auspices of the IEEE, the session organizers invite submission of papers for a session on "LAN/WAN Networking and High speed LANS". This session will focus on interworking aspects of today's LANs with wide area networks. The session will also cover various aspects of the emerging high speed LANs and MANs. The areas of interest include but are not limited to: + LAN/High Speed LAN Applications + LAN/WAN Interworking Protocols & Architectures + FDDI, MAN, and High Speed LANs + Performance of LANs + Bridges, Routers, and Gateways Depending on the number of responses, this session may be split into two sessions, with one focusing on today's LANs and LAN/WAN interworking, and the other focusing on high speed LANs and MANs. Prospective authors should submit two copies of an extended ab-stract (not exceeding 2 pages, double spaced) of their papers organizer by March 31, 1989. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by May 15,1989.Photo-ready copy of the complete paper must be received by July 15,1989 for inclusion in the pro- ceedings which will be published by the IEEE and distributed at the symposium.
