CALL FOR PAPERS
FIFTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
ON
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT AND SECONDARY MATERIALS
A major international conference on solid waste management and secondary
materials will be held in Philadelphia on December 5-8, 1989. The conference
is sponsored by:
-The Journal of Resource Management and technology
-The University of Pennsylvania--Department of Systems
-Widener University--Department of Civil Engineering
-City of Philadelphia--Philadelphia Office of Recycling
-State of Delaware--Delaware Solid Waste Authority
-State of New Jersey--Department of Environmental Protection
-State of Pennsylvania--Department of Environmental Resources
-U.S. Environmental Protection Agency--Region 2
-U.S. Environmental Protection Agency--Region 3
Papers related to all aspects of solid waste management and recycling/recovery
of secondary materials are of interest. Papers concerning solid waste
management models, research and education, financing and economic development,
market development, and technology are particularly encouraged.
A one page abstract (in English), to be received no later than JUne 15,
should be sent to the following address:

Authors will be notified after June 15, 1989, concerning acceptance or
