CALL FOR PAPERS 1st INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON TOOLS FOR AI ``Architectures, Languages and Algorithms'' October 23-25, 1989 George Mason University, Fairfax, VA SPONSORED BY IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY IN COOPERATION WITH: IEEE Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence TC, IEEE Computer Languages TC, IEEE Computer Architectures TC, IEEE Software Engineering TC, IEEE Data Engineering TC. E-Systems Corp. SCOPE The goal of this workshop is to provide the ground for the development of general and/or special purpose tools, such as architectures, languages, algorithms and DBs for Artificial Intelligence. We expect the contributors in AI areas to share knowledge and experience highly beneficial for the great variety of attendants and for the future research efforts. TOPICS OF INTEREST TAI 89 workshop will accept scientific and technical papers on areas related to artificial intelligence technology such as Intelligent Architectures, Languages & Algorithms on: - Vision - Speech - Text - Computations - Neural Nets - Learning Schemes - Knowledge Engineering - Expert Systems - Databases - Robotics - Applications - VLSI & CAD The previous list of topics should not be considered limitative. Proposals for high quality invited sessions are welcome.
