Travel Arrangements

The Microprocessor Forum will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in San
Jose,California. A special rate of only $80 per night (plus tax) for a
single or double room is available for Forum attendees. Reservations can be
made by calling (800) 527-4727. Be sure to tell the reservation agent that
you are attending the Microprocessor Forum to obtain the special room rate.
A block of rooms has been reserved for Forum attendees, but we cannot
guarantee availability of rooms after August 20.

A special discounted air fare is available to Forum attendees from American
Airlines. The discount is 45% off of the full coach fare (with a 7-day
advance purchase) or 5% off of the lowest available fare. To purchase
tickets at the special rate, call American at (800) 433-1790 and tell the
agent to refer to Star #S0299VB. You should fly into the San Jose airport
if at all possible; San Francisco airport is approximately one hour away by
car. The Fairmont provides complimentary 24-hour shuttle service between
the San Jose airport and the hotel.

Only one person per subscription may attend at the special subscriber rate.
To receive the discounted early registration price, your prepaid
registration must be postmarked by July 31, 1989. Payment by check or
credit card must be sent with the registration form to obtain this discount
(no purchase orders).

The registration fee includes a complete set of speakers' notes, literature
from each of the participating vendors, breakfast and lunch on both days,
and a reception Thursday evening.

Cancellation Policy

If it is necessary for you to cancel, a full refund of your registration
fee will be provided as long as your cancellation is received at least two
weeks prior to the Forum (by Sept. 7). If you cancel less than two weeksbut
more than four days prior (by Sept. 16), we will provide a 50% refund.
No refunds will be made for cancellations after Sept. 16 or for no-shows.
Substitutions may be made at any time.
