For a long time I have noticed X. files showing up in my uucp spool directory that were meant for other sites. Most notably, we get X.decvax* files that are for rnews, but refer to data files on sites like cca and genradbolton. We still get these even though we don't exchange news with decvax any more. I have seen other sites get this too. Any ideas. ?

From: rusty one strange thing that has happened to us at least two times is that ucbvax has called us up thinking we were sdcsvax the first time and ucsfcgl the second. my theory is that their dialer didn't get reset and redialed the last number that it had dialed.
