Call For Papers 1990 ACM SIGMOD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MANAGEMENT OF DATA May 23-25, 1990 Trump Plaza Hotel, Atlantic City, NJ The 1990 SIGMOD Conference will bring together researchers, practitioners, and users concerned with issues in data management. Our goal is to have a balanced conference offering papers on theoretical concepts and results as well as a forum on practical system design and implementation experiences and database applications. The conference will also feature a number of half-day tutorials and extensive exhibits of commercially available systems and experimental research prototypes. Topics of interest include: Data Models Deductive Databases Query Optimization Query Languages Database Programming Languages Logical & Physical Database Design Database Design Tools Access Methods Concurrency Control Recovery Integrity Maintenance Security Issues Database Theory Application Generators Advanced Applications Extensible Database Systems Object-Oriented Database Systems Design Databases Spatial Databases Benchmarks High Performance Systems Parallel Architectures Workstation-Based Architectures Distributed Database Systems Six copies of a manuscript limited to 20 double-spaced pages (5000 words) should reach the Program Committee Chair by December 6, 1989.
