ENGINEERING THE HUMAN INTERFACE Call For Papers, Tutorials, & Presentations Sponsored By American Electronics Association 11812 Northcreek Parkway North, Suite 205 Bothell, Washington 98011 206/486-5720 This year's Software Technology Workshop, May 22-23, 1990 in Bellevue, Washington, USA aims for wide coverage of theory and application issues that relate to HUMAN INTERFACE ENGINEERING. THEMES: Suggested, but not exclusive, topics of interest include the following: * Graphical Human Interface * Non-Graphical Human Interface * User Interface Paradigms * Automated Acceptance Testing * User Configurable Interfaces * On-Line Documentation * Rapid Prototyping * Object Oriented Design Methods Authors from all countries--both from industry and academia--are invited to submit papers, tutorials, and presentations. Abstracts and outlines submitted must be of sufficient length and detail to allow for a thorough review and proper acceptance decision. Papers submitted can be previously published or in the development process. All papers submitted (camera ready copy) must be accompanied by a presentation outline. For viewfoil or slideshow presentations with no formal paper, abstracts must be attached to a presentation outline.
