[talk.religion.newage] 5 days since end of talk.religion.pagan voting

tim@hoptoad.uucp (Tim Maroney) (01/25/90)

It's been five days since the end of the *extended* talk.religion.pagan
voting period, and not a peep out of the vote collector. But hey, at
this stage of the game, what's one more major irregularity?

Tim, why did I know that you would again feel that this was your business?

I think you owe us all a detailed explaination of WHY you feel like
meddling in this affair. I am willing to be convinced that you are
right, and the T.R.P. vote collector is wrong, but it is going to take
more than a "Daddy! He's cheating!" message to do it. The imposition
of rules on a chaos like usenet was never meant to encourage barracks
lawyers, but rather to permit the creation of a new newsgroups on more
than a whim. It is the net.gods who must be convinced of the mandate
for a new group, not me, and not you. They are not likely to either
be extrodinarily picky about the rules or unaware of the time frames
involved.
