[comp.laser-printers] TI 2115 as a replacement for LaserWriter+

Hello Out there,

          We are thinking of replacing out LaserWriter+ with a TI 2115
laser.
We are currently running an AppleTalk network with  8 macs. Does
anyone
have any experience out there have any experience -good or bad- with
the TI 2115 or better yet has anyone put a TI 2115 AppleTalk, if so
what happened? Thanks for any info.

We installed a 2115 last week.  It's too early to tell.  But most of
the chatter I've seen on laser-lovers has been more negative than
positive.  Our local TI tech says we got the most current (containing
all updates, upgrades, corrections) model.

We definitely will not use it to replace any of our 5 laserwriters.
