[comp.laser-printers] Laserwriter bitmaps

Hi all,

Is there a way to retrieve an image created by postscript interpretation
in the laserwriter into the host?  That is, can the raster image generated
in the laserwriter frame buffer be sent back to the host instead of being 
printed?  Enquiring minds want to know.
