[comp.laser-printers] Using a DEC LPS40 with Macintosh PostScript files

spector@VX2.GBA.NYU.EDU (David HM Spector) (10/06/87)

I have a DEC PrintServer-40 PostScript printer that I would like to be
able to print Macintosh generated PostScript files on. I have tried the
works, from editing LaserPrep (including version s 12, 35, 65...et al),
to using the LaserPrep files straight, to not using them at all, to even
modifiying the LPS-40's serverdict to use the Apple defined routines,...all
to no avail. I can't get the beast to print a single Macintosh PostScipt
file.

Does ANYONE know how to get PS40's to print this stuff? Am I losing my
marbles? Is there life after PostScript? 1/2 :-)
