I've been led to believe the HP DeskJetPLUS uses PCL3 and should be completely
software compatable with LJ+ and LJII. With 256K memory cartrige, some
rather old dvi->lj code does not work properly. Anyone find that DJ+ can
replace LJ+/LJII easily?

The DeskJet is like a laser jet except that it does not compute a full page description (or raster) before printing. Thus, pages that are described roughly in order from top to bottom will print. Pages that make extensive use of "cursor up" commands will fail to print correctly. - Geof
