Hello folks, I don't read this list as much as I should (only so many hours in a day..) so email would be appreciated. Anyway, my question is this, does anyone have a way to print in OCR-A (Optical Character Recognition font A) on an Imagen printer with Impress (not, unfortunately, UltraScript). In particular, I'm talking about 8/300s running 2.2 and 2308s running 3.3. (QMS/Imagen doesn't know of any way). Failing that, is OCR-A in the public domain, and does anyone have it digitized? Thanks much, Ted Nolan ted@arsocomvax.socom.mil [26.27.0.80, 192.5.92.100] ted%arsocomvax.socom.mil@cacfs.army.mil (alt)

There is an OCR-A font available in Metafont format. You could use it either through TeX, or, with a bit of effort, convert the MF-generated bitmaps into a bitmap format you can use. -dh -- "Odi et amo, quare id faciam, fortasse requiris? nescio, sed fieri sentio et excrucior" -Catullus D.A.
