We are to purchase a postscript laser printer. After looking at different brands and model the finalists are the Apple IINT and the QM810PS. The main use will be for ditroff printing, although other applications will also be run on it. We know that the Apple works well, however when compared with the QMS has the following disadvantages: it offers only 3 months vs. 1 year warranty and its maximum memory configuration is 2 Meg vs. 3 Megs. Their prices are quite comparable. Does anyone know about disadvantages of the QMS with respect to the Apple (incompatibilities, reliability, tc)? Thanks. Dan.
