I have an AT-class machine and am interested in hooking a laser printer up to it to print TeX documents. With the price of HP's IIp printer, it's hard to choose anything else. My questions, then, are: 1. Can anyone tell me if I lose horribly by having the single font cartridge the IIp offers rather than the two that can be used on the II or IID? Or would I just lose a little bit of speed? (My ignorance in this area is stunningly impressive.) 2. Is anyone out there already doing this TeX, AT, IIp, MS-DOS combination? I'd love to hear any problems, pointers, warnings, praise, what-have-you. This is a rather specific topic, so I guess replies should be to me (email). As usual, if interest is sufficient, I'll summarize to the newsgroup. Thanks.
