If I'm not mistake the Transcript Package comes with at least 1 utility to print text/ascii file on a PS printer. I believe it is 'enscript' and it supports a bunch (more then 5) options similar to that of lp/lpr I suppose that there others out there, but it really cannot be that hard to string one together ;-).
