We have a network of Macintoshes hooked up to a Personal LaserWriter NT. We also have a Sun 3/80, with its own HPLJII clone... but it would be nice to be able to print PostScript on the LaserWriter from the Sun without having to shut the AppleTalk net down and connecting with a serial cable. Is there any low-cost way to have the Sun communicate with the AppleTalk net directly? I know there are Ethernet-to-AppleTalk boxes at outrageous prices, but it seems like there should be a simpler solution involving software, the serial port, and maybe some simple connection hardware...
