WANCHO@WSMR-SIMTEL20.ARMY.MIL ("Frank J. Wancho") (03/24/91)
We've inherited a couple of Sperry HS47 laser printers, which appear to be relatively dumb. One is connected to an Intel 320 running Xenix 3.5 and the other to a Sperry 5000/80 running Sys V.3. It seems that all you can do is specify the margins and which font cartridge slot (of ten) to use. Does anyone have one of these and managed to do something creative with them, such as emulate an HPLJ with graphics mode, or *any* other common printer for that matter? Pointers to ftpable software, hints, tips, and tricks are welcome. --Frank
